With the sudden and harsh cold front in Austin, I have been a homebody all day, which means I got around to sewing a button back onto my jacket (please, try to contain your excitement!). I always get so nervous about sewing buttons. What if it falls off again and I don't have anymore replacement buttons and now, I'm walking around buttonless because I was too incompetent to sew on a button and everyone knows of said incompetence? It's a precarious task. Hopefully this button will stay on and I won't be found out . . .
