Any gathering at which "Texas Fight" is the song of choice is my kind of gathering. There's a unique spirit associated with Texas and to be surrounded by a bevy of like-minded individuals is always a special treat. The camaraderie of fellow Longhorns, or even a Texan as such, is unrivaled and truly a way of life. Without a doubt, as John Steinbeck said, "Texas is a state of mind" with which I am happily afflicted.
